Top 10 Podcasts for Creative Entrepreneurs and Business-Savvy Women

podcast entrepreneurs social media business women

I don’t like to waste time. For this reason, I always try to schedule activities whether for an hour-long commute or for the 2 minutes I spend on brushing my teeth. Ideally, I would love to spend that time reading, but it is not practical if you need to keep your eyes on the road or on your face (yes, I do check out my face for any sight of wrinkles when I brush my teeth, don’t you?) Therefore, I was so glad to discover some amazing podcasts that are equal parts interesting and inspirational. Below, you’ll find my hand-selected top 10 podcasts that I would recommend to all creative entrepreneurs and career women. Since most of the podcasts are hosted by women entrepreneurs and freelancers, they tackle issues that are especially pertinent to working women, such as work-life balance, making presentations to a board that consists of all men, and others. But of course, if you were a male listener, you would get a lot out of these podcasts as well.

I picked these podcasts as my favorites since they don’t preach.

I believe theories are not as useful as actionable guides.

These podcasts take a real look into people’s lives, and they show you practical steps to take towards achieving your goals.

I have listened to at least 10 episodes of each podcast so I can tell you exactly why I spend time listening to them!

3. Girlboss Radio with Sophia Amoruso

sophia amoruso girlboss radio podcast

Sophia Amoruso is the feisty founder of Nasty Gal, writer of one of my favorite career books #GIRLBOSS, and the executive producer of Netflix series “Girlboss”. She chats with career women (many of them entrepreneurs) who make their marks on the world.

Why I love this podcast

In contrast to other podcasts conducted in an interview format, Girlboss Radio is more casual in terms editing and language, which makes the contents seem genuine. Sophia Amoruso personally knows many of the guests on the show, so that sets a foundation for the conversations.

My favorite episodes

·      Miki Agrawal, Co-Founder & CEO, THINX

Note: The Girlboss Radio has stopped updating since Dec 21, 2016. I’m not sure if this has to do with the recent bankruptcy of Nasty Gal, but I really hope the podcast would be brought back soon!
